Greta Coates
Clinical Psychologist
Greta Coates is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical) degree from Murdoch University. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a proud member of the Australian Psychological Society. Greta brings a wealth of experience working with adults in both public and private clinical settings.
Before joining Cambridge Psychology, Greta worked with clients at Murdoch University Child and Adult Psychology Service, the Drug and Alcohol Youth Service, and in private practice with Grow Your Life Psychology. She also facilitated group therapy programs at Abbotsford Private Hospital, working as a group therapist for both in-patient and day-patient group therapy programs.
Greta is dedicated to developing a trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients. She focuses on their strengths, building capacities where needed, and guiding them towards a more enriching quality of life. Greta collaborates closely with her clients and utilizes evidence-based therapies such as:
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
- Schema Therapy
- Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Mindfulness meditation
Greta works with clients seeking support from a range of mental health problems, that include:
- Stress management
- Adjustment difficulties

- Disorders of Addiction (alcohol and other drugs, gambling).
